We are going to show you how to download YouTube videos to on your iPhone or iPad with a free YouTube Downloader.
This method need a free file-management app called ‘Documents by Readdle’, which should work on most iOS devices.
Step1. Install ‘Documents by Readdle’ and open it.
Download ‘Documents by Readdle’ in the App Store. Once the installation finished, launch ‘Documents by Readdle’.
Step2. Go to iTubeGo Online Video Downloader
Tap the icon in the bottom-right corner to open its built-in browser. Type “keepvid.pro” into the address bar, and open the website which can download YouTube videos.
Step3. Copy the URL of your YouTube video.
Two ways to get the URL:
1. Open the YouTube app on your iPhone/iPad, find the video you wanted. Tap on the ‘share’ icon and copy the video link.
2. Open the web browser, and go to YouTube.com. Find the video URL on the top of address bar.
Step4. Download YouTube videos on your iPhone/iPad
Now return to the Document app. Paste the URL into search box, and click the blue button‘Download Now’.
When the downloading process finished, you can save the video file in Mp4 format to your iPhone/iPad. Just tap ‘Best Download’.
Step5.Move the YouTube video to Camera Roll
Tap the Documents icon in the bottom and see the downloaded YouTube video.
You can save it to your iPhone or iPad’s Camera Roll. Just tap ‘…’ > ‘Move’ > ‘Photos’. Now you can watch YouTube videos on your iPhone offline.
Tip: If you can’t move the downloaed YouTube video to Camera Roll, that’s because you have disabled Documents’ access to Photos app in Settings. To enable Documents to access Photos on iPhone, go to Settings > Documents > Photos and allow Read & Write access.
