If the video is sent from your camera roll or from your friend’s camera roll, you can follow these steps to save the videos from Facebook messenger.
1. Open Messenger.
Click the Messenger app icon on the phone or desktop where you want to save the video, which is similar to a white bubble with blue lightning.
If you are not logged in to Messenger, enter your login information.
2. Go to the video.
Select the conversation to which the video was sent and scroll to the video.
3. Save the video.
Long press the video. Tap “Save” at the bottom of the toolbar to save the video to the camera roll.
